9/2 - Fourth day in Oahu

Nice day, but not too exciting.
In the morning we went straight to the pool and tried to sunbathe, but the sun didn't come out until like 1PM. I was swimming and just relaxing in the water on my back when Chloe took a picture of me saying "Sophie is dead". I'll try to attach to the post, but if it doesn't work I'll do it from home. We left the pool around 3:30 to get back to the hostel and have lunch. Around 5 o'clock we left again and took the bus all the way to Honolulu's center. We went to check out the King Kamehameha statue, the police headquarters that's in the Hawaii Five O, the tv show, and the Royal Palace that is the only royal palace in the whole USA. It looked nice, but to be honest, I wasn't amazed.
On the way back home we stopped at the Royal Hawaiian center to watch a show, but we were quite disappointed to see that there was just one song and that was it... buut on the good side: while we were waiting on the "show" we were sitting next to a family with 3 adorable kids. I started to dance -still sitting- and they copied me. It was really funny!
And then we just went back to the hostel, had some watermelon and then went to bed.

Szep nap, de nem tul izgi.
Reggeli utan egybol az medencehez mentunk, de napzni csak 1 utan tudtunk, mivel a nap nem jott elo addig. Uszkaltam a vizben meg a viz tetejere felfekudve pihentem, amirol Chloe keszitett is egy kepet "Zsofi halott" felirattal. Majd igyekszem kiposztolni a kepet, de ha nem sikerul, otthon mindenkeppen feltoltom.
Fel 4 korul leleptunk es visszatertunk a hostelba ebedelni, majd 5 ora korul megint utra keltunk, hogy bemenjunk Honolulu kozpontjaba. Megneztuk Kamrhameha Kiraly szobrat, a rendorseg foepuletet, ami igazabol nem az, csak a Hawaii Five O sorozatban, valamint a vele szember levo kiralyi palotat, ami az egyetlen egesz Amerikaban. Szep volt, de nem voltam tulsagosan lenyugozve.
Visszafele beugrottunk a Royal Hawaiian Centerbe, ahol megneztunk egy hula show-t. Nem volt jo, tulsagosan vegas-os volt es csupan egy dal volt az egesz. Igazan lelombozi volt. De a dolognak volt jo oldala is. Egy csalad mellett ultunk, ahol 3 kisgyerek volt, es ahogy vartunk a kezdesre, elkezdtem ulve tancolni a zenere, ok pedig utanoztak. Nagyon vicces volt.
Ezutan mar csak visszatertunk a hostelbe es egy adag dinnye utan alomra hajtottuk a fejunket.

A little summary

New York was the same, stunning self, just as I remembered. It was great to spend that 2 days there with Chloe, Claire and Cris. Hawaii... it felt like home. Of course, if we would have been more prepared or if we had more money it could have been even better. But except a few times, I didn't feel the need. The two islansd were like sky and land. To completely different words. Oahu was more touristy, lost of public transportation in reachable distance, lots of nightlife, tons of tourists. Kauai was...  a real paradise. Not disturbed by anything. (On the island of Kauai the buildings cannot be higher than the biggest palm tree. Its the law). Tons of flowers, natives, traditional dances. The only thing that I missed was the proper public transportation or a car. It was impossible for us to do anything because everything wonderful was at least 2 hours away with car. Which we didn't have. I will go back, because I left a piece of my soul there. I son't feel whole without it....
