A little summary

New York was the same, stunning self, just as I remembered. It was great to spend that 2 days there with Chloe, Claire and Cris. Hawaii... it felt like home. Of course, if we would have been more prepared or if we had more money it could have been even better. But except a few times, I didn't feel the need. The two islansd were like sky and land. To completely different words. Oahu was more touristy, lost of public transportation in reachable distance, lots of nightlife, tons of tourists. Kauai was...  a real paradise. Not disturbed by anything. (On the island of Kauai the buildings cannot be higher than the biggest palm tree. Its the law). Tons of flowers, natives, traditional dances. The only thing that I missed was the proper public transportation or a car. It was impossible for us to do anything because everything wonderful was at least 2 hours away with car. Which we didn't have. I will go back, because I left a piece of my soul there. I son't feel whole without it.

9/10, 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, 9/14 -Travelling

Saying goodbye to Kauai. (We saw tons of chicken on the street and when we asked the taxi man he said that they are "Everyone's chicken". If you need some eggs you just grab one, take it home. How great is that?!) Then to Chloe, which was terrible and really-really hard. Then I spent 2 days on the San Francisco airport. We became friends with the Starbucks waitress, saw each other so many times... :D Then I was in the air for 12 hours, then 2 more, and when I arrived to Vienna, I spent 8 hours at the airport, waiting for my train. It was fun, but I barely slept anything, so... being exhausted is not even an answer to the question "How are you?", it's more  part of my personality by this time...

9/9 - Sixth day in Kauai

Lazy day, last day. Woke up late, around 11AM. Had some breakfast, then kept talking about yesterday, checked the pics and videos a hundred times. Eventually, around 3 o'clock we left the room. Went to the ocean for 1 last swim, but the waves were too big  I tried very hard, but it wasn't fun, so we switched and went to the pool. We spent like 4 hours there, swimming relaxing, enjoying our last day in Paradise. And also we had a biiiig talk, and it felt really good, it relieved me, it was nice to know that Chloe feels the same way about life back home. Eventually we went back to the hotel. I had a noodle soup, and just when I finished, Chloe said : "Fuck it, it's our last night. C'mon, let's have a last dinner at the club. It's on me". And you know me, free food? No questions or heaitation. So we went, had a great last supper, even had a piña colada. -The waitress asked for our passport, even though they served us with alcohol during our whole stay-

9/8 - Fifth day in Kauai

The best day of summer. Hands down. No questions. What did we do? Well, in the morning not much. Woke up, had some yogurt and cereal for breakfast, had a shower and got ready. Then at 11:20 we left the hotel to GO ON A BOAT TRIP! Yes, it was as awesome as it sounds. The bus station wasn't too far away, and even  if it would have been, the environment was too pretty to notice the distance. Everything was soo green and full with flowers. We arrived there early, so we had to wait, but eventually we got on the bus and stayed on it for 20 minutes, when we had to change buses. We did and after an hour, we arrived to our final destination. Very close to Hanapepe -the little town that inspired Lilo and Stitch-, on the coast, the Blue Dolphin Charters. After checking in we had to wait for almost an hour, but eventually all the passengers arrived and the captain also appeared. He was the coolest hawaiian I know. So lovely and nice. We got on the boat and after a few safety instructions the

9/7 - Fourth day in Kauai

This day was awesome. We relaxed -slept in- during the morning, then had breakfast in the club. We went swimming, sunbathed until 3:30, when we left the hotel for the first time and went to do grocery shopping. Eventually we couldn't walk too far, we found a pharmacy. It was huge - we could have bought alcohol, cigarettes, food and way more....-! We bought food -a nice lady helped us with her card number thingy- and on the way back we sat down in the auditorium to watch a free hula show. It was amazing! They danced tahitian dance and 3 traditional hulas as well. I am still shocked and impressed... After it was done we went back to rhe hotel and relaxed, watched a movie. Ami hata

9/4 - Arriving and first day in Kauai

Whoaa. Okay, so our morning started really early. First of all since I was really excited, I woke up, got ready, washed my face and everything, and after doing all of that, I checked the time. It was 2:21 AM... so I went back to bed and next time I woke up it was 5 AM. We got ready pretty fast and after signing out -I'm gonna write an awesome recommendation for the hostel- we got into our taxi and travelled 20 minutes to the airport. We payed and then went inside to check in, drop the bags off and wait. Everything went soo smoothly, we were seriously impressed with ourselves. While waiting we allowed ourselves to get a coffe and a breakfast burger. And then we sat down and waited for more than an hour. It was way more fun doing it together. I love travelling with Chloe because after this much time spent together it feels like we are the same person. We said the same things at the same time so many times, it's incredible. We sounded like we are high or drunk, because we were co

9/4 - Fifth, last day in Oahu

I don't want to leave! I cannot believe that today was the last day here in Oahu! I feel like I am part of Waikiki, I don't want to leave... Today after a quick fast breakfast we got on the bus that was supposed to take us to the Pearl Harbor War Memorial. Well, the bus driver told us to get off at the airport and get on an other bus that will take us there. It happened, but we had to wait more than half an hour for the bus... Never mind, we had loads of fun by singing the cup song and the song from Lilo and Stitch with Chloe. After like 2 hours we finally arrived to the memorial, which was shocking. As we got our tickets -free!!- we walked around a bit, checked the little museum, all the signs. The at 1 we went in the theathre to watch a short -half an hour- movie about the attack, the why-s and how-s. It was shocking. I am not really interested in historical things, I never was, but seeing the real, original footage of the attack and the days before it happened was simply j
